-Bring up questions to the group that don't have answers (p. 51); don't be indecisive!
3. Positive Reinforcement
-Develop a reciprocal relationship with district faculty (p.52) as well as with community members, parents, local law enforcement, etc.
4.Problem-solving
-Solve problems instead of assigning blame (p.37)
5.Empowering others
-Encourage people, make them feel like they can move mountains!
6.Manage conflict
-Personal conflicts aren't allowed to simmer (p.26)
7.Being Creative
-Look for alternative ways to solve problems. Often times creative/different ideas will get attention of team members and get them interested in trying things
8.Presenting information
9.Mentoring
-Show others how to become a leader
10.Being a visionary
-Typically visions already exist, if they are not up to par they can usually be tweeked to work better for everyone.
-Also, once there is a shared vision, it's done, you are able to use it as a "yardstick" to measure the successes of the group

-One-on-one; "expand the respondents focus from being a reflective practitioner to being a leader" (p.34)
I put this low on the list because I don't think this happens very much....
12.Facilitate meetings
-Become more skillful at facilitating conversations, reflection, and designing faculty interaction time (p.37)
-I think you can lead successfully without having great meetings, but it is definitely helpful.
